Jesus Cures All – Daily Message
May 22, 2020
TGIF…Thank God it’s Friday…should be…TGFE…Thank God for Everyday
When we suffer, the most important thing we can do is to ‘Give Thanks’
We should be most Thankful for God’s Love
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:37-39
What the days ahead hold, we don’t know.
The predictable future is now one of unpredictability.
But as we let go of our need for control, let us tighten our grip around this truth –
“we are loved with an unshakeable, immovable, unending, perfect love.”
14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. Colossians 3:14
A love that literally died for us.
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
A love that changes everything. A love that casts out all fear.
So, in the weeks that come, no matter what happens, we need to realize that we can rest in His love for us. And when the suffering hits, whether in this crisis or another to come, we need to know that we never walk alone. He is Immanuel, God with us.
One More Thought
God’s Unfailing Love
No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:39
God gave us life and because God loves us, He bore our sin for us. That is LOVE!
Lord God, thank You for life! Thank you for loving us far more than we deserve. Father, thank You for deeming us worthy of Your unending love. We praise You and worship You, Lord. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
