Jesus Cures All – Daily Message

Short & Sweet Saturday…

Have you forgotten your destination?

Spiritual growth requires a clear vision of who you are and where you’re going.

Have you ever forgotten where you parked your car? I have. Forgetfulness is like a virus that affects your life. My wife’s words echo each day: “Honey, have you seen my keys, my phone, or…?” She forgets stuff all the time, and so do I.

Have you ever struggled with your memory or maybe even a loss of overall life direction?

Every morning, I wake up quite early, grab a cup of coffee, and spend time with God. It’s a habit I’ve chosen, and I’m committed to it.

Psalm 119:105 tells me, “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
This morning as I read Habakkuk 2:1-4:
1 I will stand my watch and set myself on the rampart, and watch to see what He will say to me, and what I will answer when I am corrected.

The Just Live by Faith
2 Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
4 “Behold the proud, his soul is not upright in him; but the just shall live by his faith.

I realized that forgetting is quite normal, but God has an answer. And I discovered three steps that will help us grow and reach a good destination:

1. Get a vision. Without a vision for our life, business, finances, family, or health, we will get lost. God has a plan and purpose for our life.
2. Write it down. Writing forces our minds to become clearer.
3. Share the written vision with others. Counselors, pastors, friends, or family can help us refine and even facilitate it.

John Maxwell says it so well: “Teamwork makes the dream work.”

God is making a promise to us today that He will help us grow and develop a clear vision.
God loves us and has a wonderful plan for our life. Through constant communication with Him, we will know where we are destined and will discover how to get there.

One More Thought

You Are More
You are so much more than a few days between the womb and the tomb.

Paul the Apostle says, “It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.” Ephesians 1:11-12

Above and around us God directs a grander saga, written by his hand, orchestrated by his will, and unveiled according to his calendar.

Our life emerges from the greatest mind, the kindest heart in the history of the universe! The mind and heart of God!
You are God’s idea. And remember, God doesn’t have any bad ideas.
