Jesus Cures All – Daily Message

Short & Sweet Saturday…

Using Scripture to describe our Nation’s History…

I believe God’s feeling at the time this country was born is described in
Psalm 33:12
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD,
The people He has chosen as His own inheritance.

Along the way we lost human decency, forgetting what is said in Galatians 3:28
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

What happened to ‘Love one another’, the directions given us in John 13:34-35
34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

In recent years, we abandoned God and all things godly…described in 2 Chronicles 7:14
14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

What about all the murders, both in the streets and in the womb – time for Proverbs 24:11
11 Deliver those who are drawn toward death and hold back those stumbling to the slaughter.

Today, we face the Covid-19 pandemic & should remember God’s promise in Psalm 91:3
3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.

When we do, we can live in faith over fear, as the psalmist did in Psalm 23:4
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil;
For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

Our country is in great turmoil, such as we haven’t seen since the Civil War. I pray, and ask that you do the same, for a great revival in the acceptance and inclusion of God by all Americans.

Lord, I pray that all of us as a nation come together in believing in and honoring You once again. I ask that the Holy Spirit light upon all those that have been engulfed by the lies of this world. It is in the mighty name of Jesus that I pray. Amen.

One More Thought

The Battle
You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail. Proverbs 19:21

Making plans for our lives is a good thing, a needed thing, but we must ask God to be in the middle of those plans.

If we eliminate Him from our plans and desires, we will always be fighting an uphill battle.

Why not ask God to direct your thoughts on what He wants you to do? Pray about it and wait for clarity when making big decisions.

I personally have been on both sides of doing this, my way vs. God’s way. Believe me, His way is so much better.

Lord God, we pray for Your direction in our lives. Help us to always ask You before we set out on our own. We ask in the mighty name of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
